My Background

Before my time as a Graphic Designer I had a background in art and creative writing. Throughout my years in High School I received several honour awards, a proficiency reward in environmental studies and an Ontario scholar award. After I received my diploma, I enrolled in Algonquin College's Graphic Design program. Where I used my knowledge in art to my advantage.

Education

I have over 4 years of Graphic Design Experience and over 10 years experience as an artist. I graduated in Spring 2025 with an advanced diploma in Graphic Design. I have a vast amount of experience working with a team and independently on creative projects. I have experience in the design office environment from previous jobs. Outside of college I have taken classes online and gained extra certifications to help me grow as a designer. Including Social Media Marketing, Marketing Foundations, French basics and more. I have great organization skills, problem solving, creative ideas, and have a lot of knowledge in Adobe Suite. Career Background and Skills

I have previous work experience as a Junior Designer. There I worked on app wireframes, achievement badges, print design, layout design, and digital assets. Throughout my time as a Junior Designer, I gained an understanding of the workplace dynamic, client communications, team communications, and file organization protocols. I met deadlines and used my excellent skills in time management.

What is your desired salary?

My desired salary for a future position is negotiable. The minimum of what I will take is $23 CAD an hour. I am deserving of a high salary due to my hard work as a student and designer. While I would prefer a full time position, I am open to contract or part-time positions.

What are your work hours?

For future job positions I hope to work weekdays from 9am till 5pm or 8am till 4pm. I am open to other hours and overtime, but I wish to have weekends and holidays off. If you are looking to contact me I am likely to respond quickly on weekdays from 9am till 5pm.

What type of work are you looking for and what are your goals for the future?

While I prefer to work in the design fields I specialize in. I am open to other positions such as Web Designer, Video Editor, App Design, Marketing, content creation and more.

My goals for the future is to find a steady design job where I can connect with the team. I want to use my knowledge in design to solve creative problems by offering my unique solutions.

What makes me unique as a Graphic Designer is my work ethic, my passion for design, my art background and my will to always learn and grow. I have office experience and I adapt quickly to new surroundings.
