
Horror Nights At The Circus Festival Branding
Horror Nights At The Circus is a Halloween themed event. The branding was chosen to match the nigh time theme. The logo provided was a jester and a more simplified version of the main act. The event featured a horror themed circus act, and venders.
Journey Of Creating The Design System
Sketches were made brainstorming logo concepts and colour palettes. Fonts were chosen and logo was refined. Posters, billboards, signs and web banners were designed to fit with the logo. Event information was given and organized in the layouts. Information was put in a readable font and was made large enough for viewers of the advertisements.
Posters will be placed at Ottawa colleges, transit stations and malls. Billboards will be placed at train stations and by highways for tourists visiting Ottawa. An instagram carousel was made to display information and drive traffic to Horror Night's website. The colours were to reflect how the event was in the evening. The red and orange were to contrast the background and taken from the logo. The illustration was done in Illustrator and created to be different aspects of the event. The font Moret and Amandine were chosen as a decorative title.
The target audience is ages sixteen and over of any gender who love Halloween. The overall goal was to sell more tickets for the event and help guests navigate through the event.

Final Thoughts
Overall I really enjoyed this project and creating the illustrations. The theme was fun and within my comfort zone. The project was well approved and fit the target audience well. Coming up with the concepts for the project was enjoyable and the project went smoothly.
