Brockville Luna's Restaurant New Logo
New logo design featuring brighter colours and a clean easy to read modern font. The style fits the inside of the family restaurant and the pizza cutter shows it is a pizza restaurant without the title underneath. The colour palette is warm and welcoming like the restaurant’s atmosphere.
Luna Logo Versions
The creation started with research into Luna's history and a visit to the restaurant. The pizzeria is a family run local staple to the city. The interior has more of a warm colour palette that I wanted to match. The warm colours also fit well with the warmer colours associated with pizza. The font was chosen to be elegant to best fit with the feel of the restaurant when dining there. I started sketching and came up with the concept of using a pizza cutter and using the moon from the original logo inside.
Logo Application examples
Luna uses a sign outside their restaurant to advertise to people passing by. With the new vibrant colours compared to the old sign more customers will take notice of the restaurant.
Final Thoughts
Overall I enjoyed creating a new logo for Luna's. The colour palette and research was a lot of fun along with coming up with concepts related to pizza that fit the atmosphere. I like the final product and how it fits with the restaurant. Â
